What We Believe
We believe that God is near each of us and that He is worth seeking out and finding! (Acts 17:16-34).
God is One and is the only uncreated being (Deuteronomy 6:4) and is infinitely perfect (Matthew 5:48). He entirely exists in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
We trust in the Scriptures to lead us to the truth about who God is.
The Scriptures, as inerrant as originally given, were inspired by God and sufficient for our understanding of who God is (2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 3:15-17).
We believe in the singular and one time work of Christ on the cross and His subsequent resurrection from the dead (Romans 3:21-24; Titus 3:4-7; Colossians 1:13; Romans 8:14-16; John 1:12).
Salvation is provided through Christ for all people who repent and believe in Him. They are justified by grace through faith (1 John 2:2; Romans 3:21-24; Colossians 1:13; Romans 8:14-16; John 1:12).
We believe that God has set up the church to be an outpost of His love in the world. We are called to invite people to seek and know the God of the Universe that is not far from each one of us. (Eph. 5:30; 1 Thess. 3:12; Luke 4:18-19; Acts 2:41-47).
