Love From Above Ministries

“And the King will answer and say to them, ‘…in as much as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.”

LFA exists to “consider the helpless” in Romania – to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs first and foremost to two State-run orphanages, and then the Roma (Gypsies). We seek God’s will daily desiring to be His hands and feet, eyes and heart in sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ, and in comforting the helpless, the voiceless – the ‘least of these’.

Guidelines for Giving Clothing to Love From Above for Romania / Ukraine:

The Walker Family and Caleb's Nets

Stan and Jaynee Walker are International Workers with the Christian and Missionary Alliance. They work in the African Regional Office, based in Senegal, Africa. & Stan is the assistant to the director and also the business manager. Jaynee is the African Regional bookkeeper. Their son Caleb attends Dakar Academy.

Caleb’s Nets
When our son Caleb was young, we started Caleb’s Nets (distributing mosquito nets) as a way for him to get involved with a project. 91% of all malaria occurs in Africa. There are nearly 500,000 fatal cases of malaria each year, with children under 5 and pregnant women being the most at risk. One of the most effective ways to prevent getting malaria is with an insecticide treated net. We started with distributing mosquito nets to the guards in our neighborhood and over the years it has expanded to youth centers, village schools, prisoners, medical clinic outreaches, distributions in some of the neediest neighborhoods of Dakar, etc.  Our goal is to use net distributions to help open doors for ministry opportunities.

Jessica Bryant

Jessica Bryant joined the Japan field in Tokyo in the spring of 2022. She had sensed the call to Japan since the age of 12, and had wanted to join the Alliance for just as long. Jessica graduated from Nyack college with a B.A. in Intercultural Studies with the hopes to engage in creative evangelism strategies and church planting. She is currently in her 2 years of language study and learning a lot about the people and culture. Jessica is looking forward to the many fun conversations and relationships that will blossom in the years to come and to see God’s work among the Japanese.

Joanna Gregg

Joanna was born in Colorado, left there when she was 3, and has been moving around ever since. After graduating university, she moved to the Atlanta area and joined West Ridge Church of Dallas, GA in 2007.
Joanna went on her first of three short-term mission trips with West Ridge to Burkina Faso in 2008, before moving there in January 2011. She served there with Engage Burkina until the end of 2019 when the team made the decision to leave due to security. Through this process, Joanna felt God leading her to relocate to Guinea where she is looking forward to continuing similar work with Engage, helping the National Church share the message of Christ with those who don’t know Him.

John & Betty Arnold

John & Betty first served as missionaries in 1988 in the bush, living in rustic conditions, with no electricity, no telephone, a well for water, and 3 hours on poor roads to the closest city, where they would go every month or so to shop for supplies. They first served as church planters and evangelists and are now serving with Engage Burkina in full time short term team ministries.

The teams that come provide deep drilled wells, hangars, sometimes visit a local orphanage, and work with the disabled community in the city. They serve as Site Leaders with our Engage Burkina missionary team.

Daniel & Tori Greenfield

We work in the beautiful capital city of Montevideo, Uruguay. We joined the team of IW’s working here in December of 2018. Some of the ministries and activities that we have the privilege of participating in include: church ministries, youth group, home Bible studies, English programs for children and youth and other relationship-building activities. We are really thankful to be a part of what God is doing here in Uruguay, and we look forward to all that He has planned for the future.
